NEW FORM FOR PRE-ARRIVAL PROCEDURE HAS COME INTO FORCE AS OF 1ST NOVEMBER, 2005

In accordance with The Law for the Security of Ships and Port Facilities which had come in force on 1st July, 2004, all ships coming to Japanese port from foreign port were required to report their security information to the relative Japan Coast Guard Office 24 hours before entering into the port. As from 1st November, 2005, partial changes of some items of Reporting on the security information of ships has been made. Attached herewith a New Form for Pre-Arrival Procedures which can be used as a Report on the Financial Security Information based on the Law on Liability for Oil Pollution Damage, and as an Application to load or discharge dangerous goods, for berth assignment and for berth change under the Port Regulation Law, and as an Application for mooring.
